As per a stock market missive posted on Tadawul, Red Sea International has been appointed to design, manufacture, supply and manage remote mobile modular buildings or camps to support Baker Hughes’ oil drilling operations in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern region.
The camps consist of various fully furnished modular units that are used as admin offices and accommodations, which are built of high-quality components to sustain the harsh weather conditions and continuous mobilizations to different locations, it was stated in the stock market missive.
The contract also entails providing facility management services which include catering, laundry, power generation, garbage collection, and sewage treatment.
The revenues and profits from the contract will be realized starting Q1 2022.
The Saudi-based modular specialist has also been involved in the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai, where it delivered a triangular modularisation concept in a contemporary restaurant project within the Japan Pavilion.
